Dr. Ayelet Baram-Tsabari is a Professor of Science Education and Communication at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology and holder of the Franz Ollendorf Chair. Trained at the Weizmann Institute of Science and Cornell University, she brings together research, media experience, and evidence-based practice in science communication. Her work focuses on public engagement with science and training scientists to communicate effectively beyond academia.

Science doesn’t end at discovery—it begins when people understand it in this podcast session, we unpack what science communication really is, why it plays a crucial role beyond labs and journals, and how clear storytelling can turn complex research into real-world impact. Whether you’re a student, researcher, or simply curious, this episode explores how science finds its voice—and why that voice matters.
